#05 - Sharing knowledge and inspiration @Howest Kortrijk

At COBRAS, we believe in sharing knowledge and inspiration. Recently, our founder, Jelle Vandecasteele, gave several guest lectures to the students of the Built Environment program at Howest.

Howest, the University of Applied Sciences in West Flanders, is known for its innovative approach to education. The Built Environment program combines architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and sustainable building. Students learn to integrate creativity and technical skills with social, economic, and environmental design principles.

During his guest lectures, Jelle shared his experiences and insights on the challenges and opportunities in interior design, architecture, and socially relevant entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of an integrated approach to functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics.

Jelle also spoke about his journey as an interior architect and entrepreneur, and how he built COBRAS. He encouraged students to continually seek new ways to improve the existing built environment.

A key message from Jelle was the importance of collaboration with various disciplines and stakeholders. Only through a holistic approach can we create spaces that truly add value.

Jelle's guest lectures at Howest were inspiring for both the students and himself. It was an opportunity to meet and inspire future innovators.

At COBRAS, we remain committed to sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation. We look forward to further collaboration with educational institutions like Howest to contribute to a better and more sustainable future.
